Angrry.exe™
Porsche introduced the new 911 Convertible. The German builder model will be available in the Carrera S and Carrera 4S versions, and the textile ceiling can be operated at speeds of 50 km / h. At the end of last year, Porsche presented its eighth generation of 911. The German builder model retains the aesthetic features of its predecessors, but brings a number of consistent improvements to the interior and technology. Now, the German manufacturer has published the first pictures and details of the 911 Convertible. According to the Stuttgart manufacturer, the new 911 Cabrio features a soft top top that can be operated at speeds of up to 50 km / h. The time required to lift or lower it is about 12 seconds. At the same time, Porsche representatives say that the mechanism needed to fold or raise the roof has been improved. For the moment, the new Porsche 911 Convertible will be available in two versions: Carrera S and Carrera 4S. Both have a twin-turbo 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine with six cylinders, the maximum power being 450 hp at 6,500 rpm. The maximum torque offered by the petrol unit is 530 Nm and is available between 2,300 and 5,000 rpm. Propeller power will be managed by a dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission and eight ratios. Version 911 The Carrera S Convertible takes 3.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h, while the maximum speed is 306 km / h. Versions equipped with the Sport Chrono package will sprint from 0 to 100 km / h with 0.2 seconds faster. The 911 Carrera 4S Convertible accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds and 3.6 seconds for the versions fitted with the Sport Chrono package. The manufacturer's maximum speed is 304 km / h. Inside, customers of the new 911 Cabrio will enjoy the same modern accessories as the coupe. Thus, the infotainment system now integrates a touch screen with a diagonal of 10.9 inches. The instrument panel is also digitized almost completely, the only "traditional" element remaining the central tachometer. At the center console level, German designers have chosen to reduce the number of physical buttons, their functions being now integrated into the infotainment system. With the launch of the new generation Porsche 911, the Stuttgart builder also interlocked the "Wet" running mode. It automatically detects the presence of water on the tread and sends a message to the driver. The latter can select "Wet" rolling mode at the touch of a button. The new 911 Cabrio will be available with a wide range of safety systems. The German model can be ordered with an emergency braking system, Night Vision or Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go.
