It's been a decade since the first Android phone was released. The HTC Dream or the G1 was the first phone to fight iOS with the desire to put the American giant in the wheel. At that time Apple with their iPhone and iOS were on the wave.

In 2008, on September 23, HTC Dream was released, a sleek but Android-powered phone. It had a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, a thickness of 17mm, and even the virtual keyboard did not. He still had the physical keyboard and trackpad.

It has 3G, MP3, supports Yahoo Messenger, AOL and Google Talk and an unnamed browser. It was called ... browser. As of 1.5, it has become a thought-provoking operating system for touchscreen screens. He has received copy-paste, virtual keyboard and widgets. He also got the first dessert designation, Cupcake.

The screen was 3.12 inches and the camera had only 3MP. Even RAM was not brilliant if compared to today's market: 192MB of RAM. Funny is that HTC Dream DOES NOT have an audio jack. And no one complained.
