Dark Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru (Senamhi) reported that from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 March 2019 there will be liquid and solid precipitation of moderate to strong intensity in the highlands of our country. According to the institution, these precipitations will be accompanied by electric shocks and wind gusts. Accumulated over 20 mm / day are expected in the northern and central highlands. While, in the southern highlands, it is expected to accumulate above 15 mm / day. In addition, hail will be presented in an isolated manner, mainly in localities above 3000 m.s. and isolated snowfall over 4000 m.s.n.m. in the central and southern mountains. Likewise, the occurrence of localized rain on the coast is expected. The departments alerted are Ancash, Apurimac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huancavelica, Huanuco, Ica, Junin, La Libertad, Lima, Moquegua, Pasco, Puno and Tacna. 1
