Anna Paquin isn't a fan of parents posting pictures of their children online.

The Kiwi-raised actress believes it isn't fair on youngsters to have their private lives exposed and their futures lumbered with images of youthful decisions.

Speaking to The Irish News, the 36-year-old said that even though she became famous after winning the Oscar for best supporting actress at just age 11, she was fortunate to have grown up without today's added pressure of having her life recorded on social media.

"I got to do normal silly teenage stuff without there being photos of it absolutely everywhere.

"Kids now, I feel like, photograph everything and put it all out there, and I just don't think that you're old enough for the long-term repercussions of that."1550003817538.jpg Anna Paquin believes she was fortunate to have grown up in the public eye without today's added pressure of having her life recorded on social media.
