Vizcarra: "There are proposals to improve the curriculum and work in consensus"

President Martín Vizcarra participated this afternoon in the signing of the National Pact for Education. Together with the authorities of the Ministry of Education (Minedu), the Head of State issued a statement in which he indicated that there are proposals to improve the school curriculum, so that work has been done in consensus.

From the district of San Borja (Lima) Vizcarra Cornejo said: "there are proposals to improve the curriculum, perfect, there is a proposal that is working in a consensual manner (...) that come the contributions of the regions, what space do the regions to make the regional proposal? Education for Peru must have equal or similar criteria in its content, but it must also have a space so that it can be educated according to the regional culture itself, in a context similar to all of them ".

Martín Vizcarra considered that "our wealth as a country is also our differences, which is the complement that gives us that cultural richness of which we are very proud".

The president emphasized that "the main factor of education is the teacher, who has responsibility for education and who puts himself in front of the students is the teacher, and he has to be strengthened and empowered to perform his work, we must empower him to through training, a remuneration that is worthy and that every time we have to improve it and that we are doing, within the budget possibilities and limitations that we have as a State ".
