Angrry.exe™ Posted January 13, 2019 Share Posted January 13, 2019 The use of the mobile phone or tablet at the wheel would be punished by 9-20 points-fine (4th grade) and 6 penalty points. The Ministry of the Interior has drafted a bill to this effect, which is in public debate and has been posted on the institution's website. "This draft normative act proposes the banning of handholds or hands-on use in any way not only of the mobile phone but also of any mobile device provided with the function of recording or playing text, photo or video (e.g., tablets). The sanction with fine will also be applied to drivers who are not subject to the requirement to have a driving license (eg, bicyclists), "says a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior. The text of the project is displayed and can be consulted on the website www.mai.gov.ro, in the Decision Transparency section, as well as at the Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Interior, Revolution Square no. 1A, in Bucharest.
