Dark Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 The Minister of Health, Silvia Pessah, explained that after the disclosure of the case of doctors from the Hospital Arzobispo Loayza who attended private clinics during their work hours in the hospital, the Transparency and Anticorruption Office of the Minsa also has been investigating cases within the country. He recalled that the involved physicians have already been denounced and are awaiting due process. He announced that the anticorruption plan of his sector will expand his investigation in cases of drug acquisitions. A report from "Cuarto Poder" revealed that at least five doctors from the Hospital Arzobispo Loayza were discovered working in private clinics at times when they supposedly were treating patients at the aforementioned hospital. The report showed that José Mauricci Ciudad (head of the Department of Surgical Specialties), Wenceslao Castillo (head of the Dermatology Service), Genaro Barrueto Rodríguez (doctor of the Traumatology Area), Walter Paredes Vásquez (Cardiology) and Humberto Solís Linares left their posts from the hospital and attended clinics located on Av. Alfonso Ugarte. 1
