Italy The 2nd Football League (Serie B) team was sold to Mepal in central London for 10 euros.

Club owner Maurizio Zamparini announced the sale of all his shares to the London-based Mepal company at a symbolic price of 10 euros, addressing fans with a letter to the Palermo website.

The 77-year-old businessman emphasized that the sale was realized for the interests of the club and announced that the company undertook to pay debts of up to 22.8 million euros and to begin preparations for the construction of new stat and training facilities.

Maurizio Zamparini, who bought Palermo in 2002, carried the club to Serie A in 2004-05 after a 30-year hiatus.

Edinson Cavani, Paulo Dybala and Javier Pastore are the leading players of the period such as Palermo, Serie B, where they played for a period of 13 weeks.
