The McLaren Senna is a supersport car manufactured by McLaren Automotive to replace the P1 and pay homage to Ayrton Senna, which takes the name of the legendary three-time world champion Formula 1 to baptize his ultimate weapon. The British firm has taken its most radical registered car out of its sleeve, and even though its sole objective is to destroy chronometers; This two-seater is approved for public roads.1 Previously, McLaren revealed data such as that its engine produced around 800 HP and that it would be the street version and the GTR version, in addition to which it revealed a part of the rear part and that it would not have a hybrid system like P1.2 It debuted in March 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show, 500 units will be built and will have a price of 853,000 euros, the McLaren Senna number 500 will be auctioned at 2.3 million euros for raise funds for the Ayrton Senna Institute.3

The aerodynamic functionality undergoes extreme forms with an extremely radical body, designed to keep the car stuck to the ground. All the lines have an aerodynamic mission and the extreme silhouette is enhanced by transparent panels on the doors that further lighten the view of the car.

It also incorporates a new generation of active aerodynamics both in the front and rear to increase the downforce and improve control according to the moment.

The rear is even designed to trap the hot air leaving the engine with a low pressure zone that sucks excess temperature while not interfering with the operation of the huge rear spoiler. A similar function has the three titanium-iconel exhaust outlets, spitting the gases away from the wing.

Continuing with the rear, the double rear diffuser is made of a single piece of carbon fiber that keeps the car bolted to the asphalt. The aileron is also double height and represents the highest point of the vehicle, with a height of 1,219 mm. This huge piece is mobile by hydraulic drive and in total adds a surface of 0.65 m² and has an airbrake function.

In the cabin there is a sound system, a central screen, speed console in the center and a console on the roof that includes the start button. Behind the carbon fiber steering wheel a minimalist digital control panel forces you to concentrate on driving.

Apart from this and the carbon fiber seats there is nothing. Not even storage space aside from a small gap behind the rear seats just enough to carry two helmets and circuit monkeys.7
