But no, quite the opposite in fact. Microsoft’s E3 briefing got the reveal of a game. And fans of the series couldn’t be more excited. Both Dante and Nero will return as playable characters in 5. A third playable character will be introduced as well but details are scant at this point. All we know is that the story will take place several years after the events of 4. We’ve already waited about 10 years since the release of Devil May Cry 4. With 5 aiming for Q1 2019, the next iteration of the series is finally in sight
