OyaYansa
The image is science fiction: a drones mental pilot who manages an army of flying craft with the mind. But it is real. DARPA, the American military agency that invented the Internet, has created a neural interface that allows you to control an army of drones with your mind. It is not a theoretical document. A few months ago he performed a real test with a paralytic person named Nathan, who was able to control three drones with the mind. Perhaps calling it an army is a little exaggerated, but the technology is ready to increase the number of drones. The most important thing in this announcement is not the number of drones, but the neural interface not only sends signals to drones, it also receives them directly in the pilot's brain. DARPA is a military research agency in the United States that, in the 1960s, invented the Internet, with the aim of improving communication between military barracks. Years later he opened this network of networks to universities and companies and the rest, as they say, is already history ... DARPA has been working on a neural interface to control drones with the mind for 20 years. In 2005 he showed how a paralytic woman could maneuver a military F-35 Joint Strike Fighter with her mind, by implanting a microchip in her brain. This week, the American military agency has announced that they have managed to control three drones at the same time with their minds. More importantly, the mental pilot not only sends signals, but receives them. "The signals from these aircraft arrive directly at the brain, so the user (the pilot) can perceive the environment", explains Justin Sanchez, direct from the techno-biological office of DARPA. "It has taken us several years to achieve this."
