iRobot has announced the launch of Roomba e5, its new robot vacuum cleaner equipped with WiFi and innovative technologies to keep your home clean without effort.

Nowadays, the robot vacuum cleaner has become an appliance more and more common in homes. And no wonder: they keep the floor impeccable without the need to be sweeping or vacuuming personally every day, they work autonomously and there are available models with prices for all budgets.

This is Roomba e5, a new model that stands out for offering high suction power, a very efficient cleaning system, smart sensors and washable tank.

The suction power of the Roomba e5 is up to five times more powerful than the AeroVac system of the Roomba 600, so it leaves floors cleaner in one pass. In addition, it equips a filter of high efficiency to clean the dirt and hair of pets, and traps even the smallest particles.

The robot vacuum cleaner leaves the surfaces impeccable thanks to the cleaning system in three phases, which combines two multi-surface rubber brushes, a brush to sweep edges and corners and a powerful aspiration. This, together with the Dirt Detect technology that detects the dirtiest areas of the house, guarantees a more efficient cleaning throughout the home.

Roomba e5 integrates a complete set of intelligent sensors and WiFi connection to map the space and move in an optimal way. It is able to make more than 60 decisions per second and clean under and around the furniture.

The appliance has a range of up to 90 minutes, and when the battery runs out it returns to the recharging base on its own. It also comes back when the cleanup finishes. Thanks to WiFi connectivity it is very easy to program at any time through the iRobot Home app.

The price of Roomba e5 will be 499 euros and will be available for sale as of next September 26.
