Google Photo Books: so you can create your book of printed photos

Photo Books, Google's photo book service, is now available in Spain. We tell you what you have to do to create yours.

The Mountain View company launched Photo Books last year, a service within Google Photos that allows users to create a personalized photo album to print in physical format. At first it was only available in the United States and Canada, and now it has finally arrived in Spain, so you have the possibility to use it if you wish.

If you're wondering how to create your Google Photo Book, to access the service all you have to do is enter the Google Photos app on your mobile device or on the web, and go to the Photo Books tab of the main menu . Once here, click Create a new book, then select one by one all the images that you would like to include in your photo album and click Done when you finish.

In the next step you can edit your photo book. You can rearrange the images that will appear on each page by clicking on them and dragging them to the location you prefer. Also, if you click on each page you have the option to add a title to modify the format of the photo.

If you have left an image out, click on the + icon in the upper right corner, and click on the three points if you want to reorder or delete pages, change the cover, delete the draft or open the help.

When you finish, click on the shopping cart icon in the lower left corner to choose the type of book and pay.

Google photo albums are available in two formats. Here we leave the characteristics and prices of each of them:

Soft cover book. It has dimensions of 18 x 18 cm. The minimum size includes 20 pages and has a price of 12.99 euros. Each additional page has a cost of 0.49 euros and can have a maximum of 100 pages.
Hard-cover book. Its dimensions are 23 x 23 cm. The 20-page album costs 22.99 euros. Each additional page is worth 0.69 euros and can have a maximum of 100 pages.
Of course, shipping costs are not included, so you must pay them separately. The economic shipment has a cost of 5.99 euros and you receive it in 8 - 11 days, and the priority shipment is worth 13.99 euros to arrive in 4 - 7 days.
