The Women's Baseball World Cup takes place between August 22 and 31 in Florida

ÚN.- Venezuela will seek this Saturday to add its second victory in the VIII edition of the Women's Baseball World Cup, when it faces the ninth US (US) at the Space Coast Stadium, located in Viera, Florida.

The national team, led by Carlos Torres, has to his credit a defeat and victory as a result of his encounters with China Taipei (1-9) and South Korea (10-4), respectively. The Venezuelan team has one game less than its next rival, given that the game scheduled against Puerto Rico was suspended due to weather conditions, said AVN.

For its part, the American team maintains a perfect record of three wins against Puerto Rico (14-0), Holland (18-0) and South Korea (11-1).

Thus, the Venezuelan team is located in the fourth qualifying square, while the Americans lead the table of Group A.
