At least two people have died and another 13 have been wounded in a shooting that happened tonight at a restaurant in Toronto (Canada). "14 victims were shot with a firearm, one adult woman has died," the police said on Twitter, citing local police chief Mark Saudenrs, who is at the scene. Police have added that one of the injured is a young girl who is in critical condition and that "the suspect is dead", alluding to the perpetrator of the shooting. The homicide unit is investigating what happened. The event took place on Sunday night at a restaurant in the Riverdale neighborhood of Toronto, the largest city in Canada. The deputy commander of the emergency services, Shawn Staff, had previously indicated to the newspaper The Globe and Mail that "several have serious injuries", without offering an exact figure. The witnesses explained that they had heard about twenty shots, and that a large medical and safety device had been quickly moved to the area.
