-Garrix Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 The Lincoln MKC debuted on the market three years ago (2015), becoming the smallest and most accessible SUV in the range. For this mid-life update, the MKC 2019 adopts the front design language that debuted on the Lincoln Continental and that we recently also saw in the all-new Navigator. The great novelty is the addition of a new entry version called Select as a particular signal, incorporates the 2.0-liter Ecoboost block with 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque that is associated with the already known six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front axle and controlled by the I-Shift system that eliminates the shift lever and replaces it with a keypad located on the board. The top-of-the-range version, called Reserve, uses the same L4 2.3-liter Ecooboost with 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque coupled to the aforementioned transmission, this is the same mechanics that with some changes we have seen in the Ford Mustang Ecooboost and Focus RS. Also, in this case the traction is integral. The most outstanding equipment elements are: The 8 "touch screen with Sync 3 system that is compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto with Waze integration, leather seats with French stitching, adaptive suspension that adjusts every 2 milliseconds, three driving modes; Comfort, Normal and Sport, as well as in the Reserve version are added, a THX audio system with 14 speakers and panoramic sunroof. In terms of safety, the Lincoln MKC 2019 offers virtually every conceivable technology, from those required such as: airbags, ABS and ESP, to newer ones such as the lane-keeping alert, collision warning with pedestrian detection, detection blind spot, parking attendant, cross traffic alert and emergency braking assistant.
