Chevrolet Beat Activ 2019 presents itself

With the aim of increasing its market share in the subcompact segment, Chevrolet expands the number of Beat versions with the addition of the Activ variant.

In the same way that happens in the Spark, the Beat under the nomenclature Activ receives a treatment that allows him to achieve a bolder appearance in comparison with the Beat Hatchback.

Visually, this version, which has as rival number one Suzuki Ignis, contains a series of elements that apparently make it seem more corpulent. This optical illusion comes from a kit composed of a redesigned grid, spoiler, fascias, which unlike the "normal" Beat are not painted with body color, and 14 "wheels with a special design for this variant.

Although these elements give a different appearance to the vehicle, the central point of the attire of this Beat Activ are the molding of the fenders, the side skirts with silver trim and the 8 mm elevation with respect to the floor of the body.

Continuing with the aesthetic treatment, this hatchback, which also has as rival to the Volkswagen Cross Up, offers a dressing on the inside to make a difference with the LS, LT and LTZ versions. To follow the tone of the exterior look, the board, in addition to getting a slight redesign, gets ornaments in white.

Based on the LT version of the Beat, this new option from Chevrolet is equipped with air conditioning, cloth-lined seats, electric drive glasses, audio controls on the steering wheel and audio system with four speakers, USB, auxiliary and Bluetooth input. It is worth mentioning that all versions of the Beat model year 2019, equipped with two frontal airbags and anti-lock braking system -ABS-.

 

Same engine, improved suspension
While this Chevrolet Beat Activ 2019 equipped with the same four-cylinder 1.2-liter engine also offers 80 hp and 81 pound-feet of torque, associated with a five-speed manual gearbox. However, you can sense a refinement in your gait thanks to that the suspension was tuned to achieve a larger stroke of the shock absorbers, also, the tires are of higher profile compared to the other versions. Similarly, passing a stop or a ramp, the hatchback is more affable because of that slight elevation of the body.
