The French Ministry of the Interior recommends on Wednesday motorists not drive today by car in the Paris region because of the difficulties that accumulate caused by the snowstorm.
Up to twelve centimeters of snow accumulated in some points of the French capital, something that had not happened since 1987, which caused public transport to suffer delays and most of the bus lines were suspended.
Up to 25 departments of the country, essentially from the east, are under surveillance due to snowfall and in other cities there have also been problems arising from the storm.
The meteorological services foresee that the snow stop falling at noon in the Paris region, although not in other departments of the country.
