Representatives of the Governments of Argentina and the United States have assured this Sunday in Buenos Aires that they are studying to implement sanctions to the oil of Venezuela to pressure President Nicolás Maduro to return to a "constitutional regime". "Punishing the oil or prohibiting the sale in the US of products coming from Venezuela is something that we continue to consider," assured the Secretary of State of the United States, Rex Tillerson, in a press conference with the Argentine Foreign Minister, Jorge Faurie, in the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After holding a private meeting, both have agreed on the need to put in place measures to curb the "authoritarian drift" that has taken the Government of the Caribbean country.
