One of the most common tasks that we have to carry out is to change the size of an image. The photos are captured at a huge resolution, which takes up a lot and is not very manageable. To store or upload them to the Internet, you must reduce the size of the photo. It is also possible that you want to carry out the opposite operation: enlarge a photo. There are millions of ways to complete the task. If you have a computer, we will show you how to change the size of an image in Windows easily. You do not need to install any program. Simply enter the photos on the PC, either through an online store Dropbox or Google Drive, or with an SD card reader, or a USB flash drive. How to change the size of an image in Windows To enlarge or reduce a photo we will use the classic Paint, included in Windows 10. Quiet, you will not retire ... We start Paint locating it with the Windows 10 Desktop browser, in the lower left corner of the screen: With Paint in progress we enter the File menu, in the upper left corner, and click on Open. Select the photo you want to resize. At the top you will see an icon called Change size. Press it: A window with several options will open. We have two ways to change the size of an image. If we use Percentage we must enter the size in vertical and horizontal, taking into account that 100 (100%) is the original size: In this way, if we put 50 we reduce the photo to half, and if we put 200, we increase it to double. It is convenient to leave the option Maintain aspect ratio checked, so that the image does not deform. If we mark By pixels, we will see the pixels (points) that the image has horizontally and vertically. If we reduce the number we make it smaller, and if we increase it, bigger: When we have finished, all that remains is to click on the Save icon, in the upper left corner, to store the photo with its new size.
