According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter was located at sea at a depth of 30 kilometers and it was not necessary to issue a tsunami warning. He also explained that it was noticeable in the territories of Hokkaido and Iwate, where it reached intensity four on the Japanese scale, of a maximum of seven, reported international media. Japan is located in one of the regions of the planet most prone to earthquakes. According to statistics, 20% of the earthquakes that shake this area are of 6 or more degrees of magnitude.
