OyaYansa Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Through an update of Microsoft Store, the Redmond company has changed the name of its integrated payment platform in Windows 10, which changes from Microsoft Wallet to Microsoft Pay. Although for the moment no web or application has been detected in which the service can be used, this movement suggests that it is possible that the corporation has big plans for the platform. Microsoft Wallet was the mobile payment service that stores credit cards and coupons that Microsoft initially introduced in Windows Phone 8. Now, following the trend set by Apple with its Apple Pay and Google with Android Pay, the Redmond have decided to modify the name of your platform, which becomes Microsoft Pay. Since the Windows 10 Creators Update, the corporation has been working on optimizing the payment APIs of Microsoft Edge, the default browser for the new version of the operating system. On the official website dedicated to online payments, the company describes Microsoft Pay as a service to make simple and secure purchases by unifying payment methods, shipping addresses and profile data as part of the user's Microsoft account. The online payment platform will allow you to shop in retailers' stores easily and conveniently just by logging in to Edge with your Microsoft account, and it will also be possible to pay in attached apps. However, at the moment the only change that the platform has experienced is the modification of the name and there are still no web pages or applications that have it available to buy. 1
