Unexpected visit: Moon steals the show in solar photos of NASA

The scientists shared the images that "eclipsed" the Sun for a moment, in a completely unexpected phenomenon.

The natural satellite, which barely covered 26 percent of the star king, did not distort the shots, because of lack of atmosphere, experts said.

"The edge of the shadow is sharp and sharp, as the Moon has no atmosphere that can distort the Sun's light," NASA scientists quoted by HispanTV as saying.

The heat of the Sun, of more than 10 million degrees Celsius, can not be seen with the naked eye, so experts use a type of camera that record ultraviolet images - in green - to study that mantle better, says Excelsior.


 
The star constantly emits "bursts" of solar energy, which in large quantities are considered harmful to terrestrial communication systems.
