Design
The appearance of the third generation of Apple Watch does not differ much from previous versions. As with the Apple Watch Series 2, smartwatch continues to retain the lines marked by the first model: square dial with rounded edges and crown and push button on one side. Of course, unlike previous versions, the crown stands out for having the red surface.

Although the design has not varied much, what we find are new nylon, Nike + and Hermes belts. In addition, also has a new finish in gold aluminum.

Hardware
As we said at the beginning, the main novelty of the Apple Watch Series 3 compared to its predecessors is the LTE connectivity, a feature that will allow it to be more independent of the iPhone. Connectivity is possible thanks to an Intel low-power modem with which the smartwatch connects to the Internet at a speed that exceeds 2.5 times that of 3G. Thanks to this, we can play music streaming, use Siri without the smartphone, make calls without the iPhone or navigate with Maps independently. The smart watch does not need a SIM card, but uses a virtual eSIM to get the data, and will share the phone number with the iPhone.

The Apple Watch Series 3 features a dual core processor that performs 70% faster than its predecessor. In this way, the company remedies one of the main hurdles of previous versions, especially the Apple Watch Series 1, which took a long time to open the applications. In addition, it has been upgraded to a W2 chip, so WiFi connectivity has improved by 85%.

software
WatchOS 4 is the new operating system for Apple's smart watches. In this new version, which was presented last June, the company has put special attention on health functions. It has optimized the heart monitor and added new features to help users take care of their heart health, including sending notifications every time the system detects that the heart rate is too high at rest. The new version of the operating system for the Apple smartwatch will be available from September 19.

The sports monitoring functions have also been optimized. You can register your workouts in any sport, submerge it up to 50 meters, with the GPS and the new integrated altimeter your tracking possibilities will multiplan even more.

Price and availability in Spain
There will be two versions of the smart clock: one with LTE and GPS and one that will only have GPS connectivity. The price of the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE will be of 399 dollars in the United States, whereas the version of GPS will cost 329 dollars.

In Spain at the moment only the GPS version is available at a price of 369 euros with the box of 38 mm and 399 euros with the box of 42 mm. It can be booked from September 15 and will be available in stores on September 22.
