OyaYansa
How many of us have ever browsed our name? Surely the vast majority, and we have done it more than once to know what information appears on the net about us. On many occasions we can not control the search results thrown at us. Sometimes we have been angry or surprised to see that search results return sensitive information, which we do not want to be public. In these cases we have several options. One of them is to configure alerts to let us know when we are mentioned on the Internet. Another one is to delete this content that appears. Within this, the most frequent demands as users is to leave no trace of our navigation, to stop filling the autocomplete data of the forms, to disappear from the network once deceased or to have the possibility to eliminate our medical history of Google. Unfortunately, theft of confidential data housed in databases of hospitals or medical centers happens more frequently than desired. Hackers steal and sell to third parties, which publish it in the cloud without our consent. A security breach that has consequences: identity theft, financial fraud, among other crimes. That is why it is important that from now on there is the option to ask the searcher to delete these results and prevent them from continuing to appear when we type our name in the search engine. Such a significant change with which Google is positioned in the intense debate about where to locate the limits of the search engine and where the privacy of users. How can we erase our medical history from Google? As we see in this image, within the English version of the Google privacy policy page now reads as follows: "Google will remove confidential records, medical personnel of people deprived of search results." Likewise, this section reflects that the measure will be extended to national identification numbers (such as social security numbers), credit cards, bank account numbers, signature on images and pornographic content to which you do not have Given consent. It is foreseen that this measure will appear during the next days in the Spanish version and in the other languages. To remove our medical history from the internet we will simply have to go to the bottom of the results page and click on the option "remove information that is seen in Google search". Then a page will open where we will have to answer a series of questions and where we insert the link that we want it to disappear. By performing these steps we will not appear in the results indexed by the search engine.
