Project Scorpio To Improve 1080p Graphics, 4K Blu-Ray Player Included

New Project Scorpio information is supposedly coming as part of a leak/insider intel published by well informed website Windows Central. And such information is pretty good, so we're willing to involve you in the process even though, as any other insider based content, none of them is confirmed so far officially.

Project Scropio 4K

First, Windows Central reports Project Scorpio is indeed supporting a 4K Blu-ray player, which is something Microsoft has been pretty secretive about. You could give this for granted mainly because Xbox One S has a 4K Blu-ray player, and giving upon this technology would look a hard to explain step back, but it's sure enough a piece of news now.

Second, after Phil Spencer's statement where he highly recommended users who wanted to truly see a difference between the upcoming console and previous Xbox One iterations to buy a 4K TV, it's confirmed the platform is supporting several improvements for 1080p players as well -- just like PS4 Pro.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is mentioned as an example of what Scorpio could help improve: better anti-aliasing would solve the issues the game has clearly render the huge landscape of this open world title. All unconfirmed intel, as said, but ultimately interesting one: is this anything you were hoping for Project Scorpio?
