The Spanish firm Bq develop a smart phone under the Ubuntu Phone OS will integrate new functionality able to connect to a screen and used as a PC.

 

This function, similar to the one introduced in the upcoming operating system from Microsoft, Windows 10, will allow to take advantage of greater convergence between devices, so that a mobile phone can be used as a desktop computer with only connect to a monitor .

 

 

 

The expected release date for the new terminal with Ubuntu revolves around October, although their caractersísticas and specifications are unknown. From the specialized blog "Omgubuntu" point will be high-end.

It is not the first time that the Spanish manufacturer has opted for this operating system. In February, they launched the world's first phone equipped with the operating system Ubuntu-of open source Linux-developed on the Aquaris E4.5 model, which also has a version with Android, the platform for further penetration of the world.
