His staging was devastating, without a trace of doubt in his game, a stubborn attack to dismantle the defense of Lajovic, only resisted in the beginning of the meeting and was losing strength to the thrust of Begrado. Djokovic's immediate goal is to fight for his fifth Open Australia, and its immediate rival, Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky that knocked out Qatari Jabor Mohammed Ali Mutawa, 6-1, 6-1. Czech Tomas Berdych also advanced to the second round with a 6-1, 6-4 victory against Uzbekistan
