Software is a set of instructions, data or programs used to operate computers and execute specific tasks. It is the opposite of hardware, which describes the physical aspects of a computer. Software is a generic term used to refer to applications, scripts and programs that run on a device. It can be thought of as the variable part of a computer, while hardware is the invariable part. The two main categories of software are application software and system software. An application is software that fulfills a specific need or performs tasks. System software is designed to run a computer's hardware and provides a platform for applications to run on top of. Other types of software include programming software, which provides the programming tools software developers need; middleware, which sits between system software and applications; and driver software, which operates computer devices and peripherals. Early software was written for specific computers and sold with the hardware it ran on. In the 1980s, software began to be sold on floppy disks, and later on CDs and DVDs. Today, most software is purchased and directly downloaded over the internet. Software can be found on vendor websites or application service provider websites. Examples and types of software Among the various categories of software, the most common types include the following: Application software. The most common type of software, application software is a computer software package that performs a specific function for a user, or in some cases, for another application. An application can be self-contained, or it can be a group of programs that run the application for the user. Examples of modern applications include office suites, graphics software, databases and database management programs, web browsers, word processors, software development tools, image editors and communication platforms. System software. These software programs are designed to run a computer's application programs and hardware. System software coordinates the activities and functions of the hardware and software. In addition, it controls the operations of the computer hardware and provides an environment or platform for all the other types of software to work in. The OS is the best example of system software; it manages all the other computer programs. Other examples of system software include the firmware, computer language translators and system utilities. Driver software. Also known as device drivers, this software is often considered a type of system software. Device drivers control the devices and peripherals connected to a computer, enabling them to perform their specific tasks. Every device that is connected to a computer needs at least one device driver to function. Examples include software that comes with any nonstandard hardware, including special game controllers, as well as the software that enables standard hardware, such as USB storage devices, keyboards, headphones and printers. Middleware. The term middleware describes software that mediates between application and system software or between two different kinds of application software. For example, middleware enables Microsoft Windows to talk to Excel and Word. It is also used to send a remote work request from an application in a computer that has one kind of OS, to an application in a computer with a different OS. It also enables newer applications to work with legacy ones. Programming software. Computer programmers use programming software to write code. Programming software and programming tools enable developers to develop, write, test and debug other software programs. Examples of programming software include assemblers, compilers, debuggers and interpreters. https://searchapparchitecture.techtarget.com/definition/software

k 1- Game 2-Game 3- Game 4- Game #1 Deku Tree – Why does the Deku tree outrank every other tree in gaming? Because it’s from The Legend of Zelda, and The Legend of Zelda is like the coolest thing ever. Haven’t you heard? Everything Zelda related should be ranked number one. That’s how journalism works. Also, the Deku Tree has a mustache. Double win. #2 Teldrassil – The old world tree from World Of Warcraft is home to the Night Elves. Of course, the Night Elves suck because they are part of the Alliance, so we weren’t going to include Teldrassil. However, then we heard that sometimes stupid Night Elf noobs fall off the tree and die, so we moved this tree up to number two. (This isn’t in a Zelda game after all. 3 Sunwood or Sudowoodoo or Sunwoody – Whatever that tree thingy from Pokémon is called. This tree placed third because it’s a tree in a video game, so it qualified for the list. ... Boy, this is embarrassing. You see, we had planned to do this big elaborate story about the top trees in gaming, but it turns out that there really aren’t many gaming trees worth writing about. I know, we’re upset too. We were planning on making award stickers and everything. Well, we sort of blew our wad there. Our mistake. Don’t bother scrolling down any further. This story is over. We already cancelled the caterer. What? Why do you keep scrolling down? Is that a mistake? We told you, this story is over. Do you still want more gaming tree related content? Are you crazy? There really aren’t that many cool gaming trees out there. Seriously, that super happy tree from Yoshi’s Story and that tree from Kirby’s Dreamland that blows trash at you can go jump into a forest fire for all we care. Go check your email or something. That would be more interesting than this article. Okay, come on dude! Why do you have to be like this? Stop scrolling. You keep moving down the page, so now we feel like we have to give you more content. Now we have to come up with a fourth best tree in all of gaming, so... #4 Diablo’s Skill Tree – What! You think that doesn’t count? It’s a tree. It’s in a game. You pressed us! We had to do something. Now stop scrolling down, this story is over. Wow, we didn’t think you’d make it this far. We really had no idea people loved trees to this extreme. Fine, we’ll give you one more piece of tree related content, but then we’re cutting you off. It can’t be healthy to think about trees this much. Secondary Award: The worst Tree in Gaming Any tree that has fallen to block your path in a way where you can clearly see where you need to go, but that damn tree is in your way and you can’t jump over it even though it’s only like three feet high and your character should easily be able to jump over the thing, so instead you have to traipse through the forest for another 20 minutes before you emerge on the other side of the path. Screw that tree. That’s it. This list is over. Now go draw, climb, or plant a tree, you crazy tree-loving nut. LINK: https://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2016/12/24/top-trees.aspx

What Is Hardware Acceleration in Chrome? Hardware acceleration refers to when a program uses a computer’s hardware in support to perform some functions more efficiently than capable in the software. The hardware was designed to perform some functions faster than software running on the CPU alone. In Chrome, hardware acceleration utilizes your computer’s graphics processing unit (GPU) to tackle graphics-intensive tasks, like playing videos, games, or anything that requires faster mathematical calculations. Passing off specific tasks gives your CPU a chance to work tirelessly on everything else, while the GPU handles processes that it was designed to run. While this does sound great in most cases, sometimes hardware acceleration can cause Chrome to lag, freeze, or crash—it could even cause your laptop’s battery to drain a lot faster. As everyone’s computer is slightly different, the issue could lie in the GPU or driver associated with it. If you suspect hardware acceleration is the culprit, the best thing to do is to disable it and see if that fixes the problem. How to Turn Hardware Acceleration On or Off By default, hardware acceleration is enabled on Chrome, so let’s look at disabling it first. Fire up Chrome, click the menu icon, and then click on “Settings.” Alternatively, you can type chrome://settings/ into the Omnibox to go directly thereIn the Settings menu, expand the “Advanced” drop-down section found in the left sidebar and then select “System.” Find the “Use hardware acceleration when available” setting. Toggle the switch to the “Off” position and then click “Relaunch” to apply the changes. Warning: Make sure you save anything you’re working on. Chrome reopens the tabs that were opened before the relaunch but doesn’t save any of the data contained in them. If you’d rather wait to restart Chrome and finish up anything you’re working on, just close the tab. Chrome will apply the change the next time you close and reopen it. To confirm it has been fully disabled, type chrome://gpu/ into the Omnibox and hit Enter. When hardware acceleration has been disabled, a majority of the items under “Graphics Feature Status” will read “Software only, hardware acceleration disabled.” https://www.howtogeek.com/412738/how-to-turn-hardware-acceleration-on-and-off-in-chrome/

Software Reporter Tool is a discrete process in Google Chrome that tracks your Chrome installation and reports if any add-ons conflict with the browser’s normal activity. The tool is not related to the internet but is used mainly by the user to identify programs that may interfere with it. A 54Kb executable called “software reporter tool.exe” is available. If you are facing a high use of the CPU for this phase or if you always see a notification that the Google Chrome App Reporter Tool has stopped working; you may want to disable or delete it. Also, read Free Data Recovery Software for recovering any data. Unless the user purposefully seeks for software reporter tool, the user is entirely unaware of its existence. So the problem is what part does this add-on to Chrome play? Practically, the Chrome software reporter tool is an executable file running once a week, and reporting to Chrome the scanned data. The device scans the machine, to be exact, to search for unauthorized software applications that may interfere with the Chrome browsing experience. Where is Software Reporter Tool Located? It is essentially the executable file that exists as Software reporter tool.exe in the Chrome device data folder. The Chrome app data folder includes data about the Chrome user profile, such as device settings, bookmarks, saved passwords, and information about other users. The.exe file is available in the Chrome device data folder under the SwReporter tab, among these various user details. How Safe Is It to Use? You can be hesitant about privacy as a customer. When you are uncertain about your privacy on the network, you can simply test the tool’s validity by simply scrolling to the.exe file. You can note that the part is digitally signed by Google with the file description as the Chrome Cleanup Tool. Hence, this tool is absolutely secure. It is worth noting that there are no network contacts at the reporting method. The tool’s only task is to report Chrome on the applications that do not work with the chrome browser traditionally. How to Disable or Remove Software Reporter Tool? Follow these steps to disable the Software reporter tool– In Google Chrome, click on the 3-dots button at the top-right corner of the window. Select the “Settings” option from the main menu. Scroll down to the bottom and click on the “Advanced” option. Again scroll down to the bottom and under the “System” section, set the option “Continue running background apps when Google Chrome is closed” to OFF. Now in the “Reset and clean up” section, click on the “Clean up computer” button. https://codersera.com/blog/what-is-software-reporter-tool-and-why-its-there-in-chrome-folder/

Rockstar's GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition wasn't exactly the grand launch people were hoping for. Mired by bugs and missing iconic radio tracks, the game was pulled off sale nearly as quickly as it went up. Its poor reception led to Rockstar giving away the classic versions for free to those who bought the remasters. Now, players who own the trilogy on PC can pick up one free game from a pre-selected list over on Rockstar's website(thanks, Eurogamer). If the games don't tickle your fancy, you can grab a Great White Shark card for GTA Online of 55 gold bars for Red Dead Redemption Online. Games-wise, you can get your hands on one of the following: Grand Theft Auto 5: Premium Edition Grand Theft Auto 4: Complete Edition Max Payne 3 L.A. Noire Bully: Scholarship Edition Tyler Colp called the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition "a mess" when the games launched last month, writing "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy is rife with enough bugs and glitches to make Cyberpunk 2077 flinch." Ouch. A big patch came with numerous fixes at the beginning of December, but little has happened since then. A fresh writer in the industry, Mollie has been taken under PC Gamer's RGB-laden wing, making sure she doesn't get up to too much mischief on the site. She's not quite sure what a Command & Conquer is, but she can rattle on for hours about all the obscure rhythm games and strange MMOs from the 2000s. She's been cooking up all manner of news, previews and features while she's been here, but especially enjoys when she gets to write about Final Fantasy, Persona, The Sims, and whatever other game she's currently hopelessly fixated on. There's a good chance she's boring another PC Gamer writer about her latest obsession as we speak. https://www.pcgamer.com/gta-trilogy-owners-can-grab-another-game-for-free/

Categories are intended to group together pages on similar subjects. They are implemented by a MediaWiki feature that adds any page with a text like [[Category:XYZ]] in its wiki markup to the automated listing that is the category with name XYZ. Categories help readers to find, and navigate around, a subject area, to see pages sorted by title, and to thus find article relationships. Categories are normally found at the bottom of an article page. Clicking a category name brings up a category page listing the articles (or other pages) that have been added to that particular category. There may also be a section listing the subcategories of that category. The subcategorization feature makes it possible to organize categories into tree-like structures to aid navigation. The term category does refer to both the title of a category page—the category pagename—and the category itself. Keeping this in mind while reading about categorization, plus learning a category page layout is a worthwhile investment in research techniques. (See also the search box parameter "incategory".) The layout of a category page is mostly text, but see about displaying category trees below. Summary The MediaWiki software maintains tables of categories, to which any editable page can be added. To add a page to a category, include "[[Category:Category name]]" or "[[Category:Category name|Sortkey]]" in that page's wiki markup. The categories to which a page belongs appear in a box at the bottom of the page. A category is usually associated with a category page in the "Category:" namespace.[1] A category page contains text that can be edited, like any other page, but when the page is displayed, the last part of what is displayed is an automatically generated list of all pages in that category, in the form of links. Other category pages which appear in this list are treated separately, as subcategories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acer_Swift

Windows 11 comes with an advanced setting, called hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, which can boost gaming and video performance using your PC’s GPU. We’ll show you how to enable the feature and thereby potentially get a performance increase. What Is Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling? Usually, your computer’s processor offloads some visual and graphics-intensive data to the GPU to render so that games, multimedia, and other apps run smoothly. The CPU gathers the frame data, assigns commands, and prioritizes them one by one so that the GPU can render the frame. With the Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling feature, the GPU’s scheduling processor and memory (VRAM) takes over the same work and runs it in batches to render the frames. In that way, your GPU relieves the processor from some work and reduces latency to potentially make your PC run better. What You’ll Need to Make This Feature Work While this feature debuted with Windows 10 May 2020 Update, it still comes disabled in Windows 11. Also, your computer needs to have an NVIDIA (GTX 1000 and later) or AMD (5600 series or later) graphics card with the latest graphics driver. Unfortunately, there is not yet any specific hardware combination (CPU and GPU) known to eke out the best performance using the feature. So your mileage may vary with this feature depending on the CPU, GPU, and graphics drivers on your PC. Enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows 11 Before you begin, it’s a good idea to update the graphics drivers on your PC. To get started, press Windows+i to open the “Settings” app. From the “System” section, select the “Display” option from the right-hand side. https://www.howtogeek.com/756935/how-to-enable-hardware-accelerated-gpu-scheduling-in-windows-11/#:~:text=With the Hardware-Accelerated GPU,make your PC run better.

-Definitions A computer system consists of two major elements: hardware and software. Computer hardware is the collection of all the parts you can physically touch. Computer software, on the other hand, is not something you can touch. Software is a set of instructions for a computer to perform specific operations. You need both hardware and software for a computer system to work. Some hardware components are easy to recognize, such as the computer case, keyboard, and monitor. However, there are many different types of hardware components. In this lesson, you will learn how to recognize the different components and what they do. -Types of Computers Before looking at the various components, it is useful to distinguish between two different types of computers: desktop computers and laptop computers. A desktop computer consists of a computer case and a separate monitor, keyboard, and mouse. As the name suggests, this type of computer is typically placed on a desk and is not very portable. Typical desktop computer with a separate computer case, monitor, keyboard, and mouse A laptop computer has the same components but integrated into a single, portable unit. Typical laptop computer with integrated hardware components While these two types of computers look quite different, they have the same general hardware components. -Hardware Components et's start with the computer case. This is the metal enclosure that contains many of the other hardware components. It comes in various shapes and sizes, but a typical tower model is between 15-25 inches high. Want to know what's inside? Okay, go get a screwdriver and let's open it up. Seriously, if you are really into computers, the best way to learn is to actually get hands-on. To save us some time, however, have a look at this desktop computer case. A computer enthusiast replaced the metal side panel with a transparent one, so we can have a look inside. Although that photo looks pretty cool, it is a bit hard to recognize the individual components, especially with all the connecting wires running through it. This figure shows a more schematic version of a desktop computer, which makes it easier to point out the essential hardware components. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Game! New Game! (stylized as NEW GAME!) is a Japanese four-panel manga series by Shōtarō Tokunō, which was serialized in Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat from January 2013 to August 2021 and is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime television series adaptation by Doga Kobo aired in Japan between July and September 2016, with a second season airing between July and September 2017. A video game developed by 5pb. was released in January 2017. Having been inspired by the character designs of a particular video game when she was younger, Aoba Suzukaze, a high school graduate, begins working as a character designer for the game's developer, Eagle Jump. As she works on modelling and designing characters for games in development, she becomes acquainted with her colleagues in the character design department, as well as those from within the company. Aoba Suzukaze (涼風 青葉, Suzukaze Aoba) Voiced by: Yūki Takada[2] (Japanese); Megan Shipman[3] (English) A twintailed high school graduate who joins the Eagle Jump games company as a character designer, as they made her favorite game. Due to her small stature, she is often mistaken for a middle school student. -ZTE Corporation is a Chinese partially state-owned technology company that specializes in telecommunication. Founded in 1985, ZTE is listed on both the Hong Kong and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges.[2] ZTE operates carrier networks, terminals, and telecommunication.[3] Its core business is wireless, exchange, optical transmission, data telecommunications gear, telecommunications software, and mobile phones.[4] It also offers video on demand and streaming media.[5][6] ZTE primarily sells products under its own name, but it is also an OEM.[7] ZTE is one of the top five largest smartphone manufacturers in its home market.[8][needs update] The company has faced criticism in the United States over potential ties to the Chinese government that could enable surveillance. In 2017, ZTE was fined for illegally exporting U.S. technology to Iran and North Korea in violations of economic sanctions.[9] In April 2018, after the company failed to properly reprimand the employees involved, the U.S. Department of Commerce banned U.S. companies (semiconductors) from exporting to ZTE for seven years. The ban was lifted in July 2018 after ZTE replaced its senior management, and agreed to pay additional fines and establish an internal compliance team for 10 years.[10][11] In June 2020, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) designated ZTE a national security threat -HISTORY initially founded as Zhongxing Semiconductor Co., Ltd in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, in 1985, was incorporated by a group of investors associated with China's Ministry of Aerospace Industry.[16][17][18][19] In March 1993, Zhongxing Semiconductor changed its name to Zhongxing New Telecommunications Equipment Co., Ltd with capital of RMB 3 million, and created a new business model as a "state-owned and private-operating" economic entity. Ties to the state notwithstanding, the firm evolved into the publicly traded ZTE Corporation, having made an initial public offering (IPO) on the Shenzhen stock exchange in 1997 and another on the Hong Kong stock exchange in December 2004.[20] While the company initially profited from domestic sales,[21] it vowed to use proceeds of its 2004 Hong Kong IPO to further expand R&D, overseas sales to developed nations, and overseas production.[22] Making headway in the international telecom market in 2006, it took 40% of new global orders for CDMA networks[23][verification needed] topping the world CDMA equipment market by number of shipments.[24][25][26] That same year also saw ZTE find a customer in the Canadian Telus[27][28] and membership in the Wi-Fi Alliance.[29] More customers in developed nations soon followed Telus's lead, and in 2007 ZTE sold to UK's Vodafone, Spain's Telefónica, and the Australian Telstra,[27] in addition to garnering the greatest number of CDMA contracts globally.[30] By 2008 ZTE had achieved a global customer base, with sales in 140 countries.[27] By 2009, the company had become the third-largest vendor of GSM telecom equipment worldwide, and about 20% of all GSM gear sold throughout the world that year was ZTE branded.[31] As of 2011 it holds around 7% of the key LTE patents[32] and that same year launched the world's first smartphone with dual GPS/GLONASS navigation, MTS 945. ZTE claims to devote 10% of its annual revenue to research and development, producing patents and utility licenses at a rapid pace.[33][34] ZTE has filed 48,000 patents globally, with more than 13,000 granted. In two consecutive years (2011 and 2012), ZTE was granted[when?] the largest number of patent applications globally,[35] which is a first for a Chinese company. -U.S. sanctions and import ban -In March 2017, ZTE pleaded guilty to illegally exporting U.S. technology to Iran and North Korea in violation of trade sanctions, and was fined a total of US$1.19 billion by the U.S. Department of Commerce. It was the largest-ever U.S. fine for export control violations.[36][37] ZTE was allowed to continue working with U.S. companies, provided that it properly reprimand all employees involved in the violations. However, the Department of Commerce found that ZTE had violated these terms and made false statements regarding its compliance, having fired only 4 senior officials and still providing bonuses to 35 other employees involved in the violations. On 16 April 2018, the Department of Commerce banned U.S. companies from providing exports to ZTE for seven years.[38][39][40] At least 25% of components on recent ZTE smartphones originated from the U.S., including Qualcomm processors and certified Android software with Google Mobile Services.[41][42] An analyst stated that it would take a significant amount of effort for ZTE to redesign its products as to not use U.S.-originated components.[43] On 9 May 2018, ZTE announced that, although it was "actively communicating with the relevant U.S. government departments" to reverse the export ban, it had suspended its "major operating activities" (including manufacturing) and trading of its shares.[42][44] On 13 May 2018, U.S. president Donald Trump stated that he would be working with Chinese president Xi Jinping to reverse the ban.[45] It was argued that the export ban was being used as leverage by the United States as part of an ongoing trade dispute with China.[46][47] On 7 June 2018, ZTE agreed to a settlement with the Department of Commerce in order to lift the import ban. The company agreed to pay a US$1 billion fine, place an additional US$400 million of suspended penalty money in escrow, replace its entire senior management, and establish a compliance department selected by the department. -There's still quite a long wait ahead of us for The Elder Scrolls 6, so instead of looking impatiently into the future why not turn the clock way back to 2002? Tamriel Rebuilt is an incredibly ambitious mod for The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind that adds a huge landmass to the map, several hundred new quests, scores of original NPCs, creatures based on The Elder Scrolls lore, and hours of exploration and gameplay. If this isn't the first you've heard about Tamriel Rebuilt, I'm not surprised. The mod project has been in development for almost 20 years now. (We spoke to the modders several years ago, in fact.) According to the modders, they want to realize the original intent of Morrowind: that the game would encompass the entire nation and not just the island of Vvardenfell. That's what the modders have been doing for almost two decades, adding in the entire mainland, piece by piece, and they reckon they're now at about the 50% mark. And they've just shared a look at what their plans are for 2022 and beyond. The next regions they're tackling are the Velothi Mountains along the western edge of the continent (which form the border between Morrowind and Skyrim), and some original locations called the Roth Roryn badlands and the Armun Ashlands. -These regions are quite sparsely settled and suitable for more higher-level characters than our previous releases," reads the post on the mod's site. "The release area also contains our first major Hlaalu city—Andothren—which will be the main focus point for the more than 140 quests currently on track to being included in this release. -Also on the roster is expanding to the southeast. "The Thirr Valley region hugs its namesake river as it gently meanders towards the southern part of Lake Andaram," reads the post. "This area is home to a multitude of small to medium-sized Hlaalu trade towns and tanna plantations, all nestled between thick mushroom mangroves. The Redoran Waters March, almost entirely pushed out of the region by Hlaalu expansion, holds on to a precarious existence in the twin river fortress of Ald Iuval and Ald Marak. Overtly, the region is peaceful, but players may soon find themselves entangled in webs of vicious underworld rivalry." The mod team is also working on an overhaul of some of the work they've done previously, with a bigger version of Firewatch (a major city from The Elder Scrolls: Arena) and additional quests that will take place in the expanded location. -The mod team is also working on an overhaul of some of the work they've done previously, with a bigger version of Firewatch (a major city from The Elder Scrolls: Arena) and additional quests that will take place in the expanded location. There's loads more planned for the near future, which you can see in the new Tamriel Rebuilt roadmap, including lots of screenshots and concept art. And unlike a lot of ambitious mods, which aren't playable until they're more or less completely done, you can try Tamriel Rebuilt right now. All you need are the mod files and a copy of Morrowind, plus the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions. There's a music addon as well and some other recommended files—get all the info you need right here. After 19 years in development, absurdly ambitious Morrowind mod reveals new roadmap | PC Gamer

COMPUTER hardware includes the physical parts of a computer, such as the case,[1] central processing unit (CPU), monitor, mouse, keyboard, computer data storage, graphics card, sound card, speakers and motherboard.[2] By contrast, software is the set of instructions that can be stored and run by hardware. Hardware is so-termed because it is "hard" or rigid with respect to changes, whereas software is "soft" because it is easy to change. Hardware is typically directed by the software to execute any command or instruction. A combination of hardware and software forms a usable computing system, although other systems exist with only hardware. THE TEMPLATE for all modern computers is the Von Neumann architecture, detailed in a 1945 paper by Hungarian mathematician John von Neumann. This describes a design architecture for an electronic digital computer with subdivisions of a processing unit consisting of an arithmetic logic unit and processor registers, a control unit containing an instruction register and program counter, a memory to store both data and instructions, external mass storage, and input and output mechanisms.[3] The meaning of the term has evolved to mean a stored-program computer in which an instruction fetch and a data operation cannot occur at the same time because they share a common bus. This is referred to as the Von Neumann bottleneck and often limits the performance of the system. PERSONAL COMPUTER The personal computer is one of the most common types of computer due to its versatility and relatively low price. Desktop personal computers have a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and a computer case. The computer case holds the motherboard, fixed or removable disk drives for data storage, the power supply, and may contain other peripheral devices such as modems or network interfaces. Some models of desktop computers integrated the monitor and keyboard into the same case as the processor and power supply. Separating the elements allows the user to arrange the components in a pleasing, comfortable array, at the cost of managing power and data cables between them. Laptops are designed for portability but operate similarly to desktop PCs.[1] They may use lower-power or reduced size components, with lower performance than a similarly priced desktop computer. [5] Laptops contain the keyboard, display, and processor in one case. The monitor in the folding upper cover of the case can be closed for transportation, to protect the screen and keyboard. Instead of a mouse, laptops may have a touchpad or pointing stick. Tablets are portable computer that uses a touch screen as the primary input device. Tablets generally weigh less and are smaller than laptops. Some tablets include fold-out keyboards, or offer connections to separate external keyboards. Some models of laptop computers have a detachable keyboard, which allows the system to be configured as a touch-screen tablet. They are sometimes called "2-in-1 detachable laptops" or "tablet-laptop hybrids https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_hardware

Asphalt 9: Legends - Wikipedia The gameplay in Asphalt 9 is similar to the other Asphalt Games with noticeable differences in graphics and design. There were 48 cars featured in the game when soft-launched, but the worldwide release saw the introduction of four new cars, leading to 52 cars.[1][2][3] There are currently 142 cars as of the September 2021 update. Like its predecessor, each of the cars belongs to a class progressively featuring higher performance and rarity: D, C, B, A, and S. The player starts with a car in the lowest class (Class D), the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. All cars in the game now require "blueprints" to unlock and then subsequently "star up", with each of them having anywhere from 3 to 6 stars. For each new star, the car's performance capability is increased (at the cost of a lesser fuel tank quantity). Each car can also be customized with the new car editor feature. Upon unlocking a car, the player can choose from a few official stock colors. Once the car has been starred up at least once, the player can create custom paint job colors to the body, rims, and brake calipers for most models. Some models also allow for carbon parts on the hood, trunk, and wings. Several cars are also convertibles (they can be converted from closed roofs to open ones in-game), like the BMW Z4 LCI E89 and McLaren 570S. Introduced in the 2019 Summer Update, several cars like the Mercedes-AMG GTS could have special tires, rims, and changes to the bodywork added to the car. Also new to the series are "clubs", where up to 20 players can collaboratively score “reputation points” to achieve rewards. The more reputation points the club scores, the better rewards, ranging from credits to blueprints for cars. The game also features "nitro shockwave", returning from Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and Asphalt 7: Heat. When the player has a full nitro bar and taps twice on the Nitro button, a purple pulse is released from the vehicle while the car's speed increases. On mobile platforms, Asphalt 9 has three control schemes: Tilt to Steer, Tap to Steer, and the brand new "Touch Drive" in which the player selects routes and stunts by swiping left and right. Touch Drive is intended for beginners and casual players. On Windows 10 devices, Touch Drive and manual controls can be used with the keyboard; or with a tilt to steer, if the device has a touchscreen and an accelerometer. In the game, there are three playing modes: Career, Multiplayer, Events, and Special Events (and Grand Prix). In career mode, the player participates in an extensive single-player campaign consisting of five chapters, each containing several series of races focusing on a certain car class or manufacturer. In Multiplayer, the player competes against other online players in real-time. In Events, the player participates in a daily or weekly competition to beat other players' times or earn other items. There are also "Special Events", which were introduced in the Bugatti Chiron special event in December 2018, and have continued since with the introduction of "Drive Syndicate" events in July 2019 and, more recently, another special event released on July 31, 2020, starting with the SSC Tuatara. Since the "Godly Beasts Update", a new type of Special Event called "Grand Prix" has been launched, starting with the Techrules AT96 Track Edition Grand Prix. Players compete against other players for rewards, including the Key for the featured Grand Prix car. Once a player obtains a Key, they can instantly unlock the car. This is the only way in the game to unlock a car without Blueprints. There are 4 race types in Asphalt 9. The "classic" race mode from previous games has returned alongside new races, "Time Attack", "Hunted" and "Slipstream". In Time Attack, the player has to cross the finish line within a time limit. In Hunted, the player must escape a police pursuit in a car chase without getting busted or running out of time. The player must also avoid wrecking their car, for if they do, they are immediately busted. In "Slipstream", which is similar to classic race, cars leaves behind the Slipstream line and when driving over this, it fill up nitro very fast. The game features a number of race tracks set in new locations: Cairo (including Giza), the Himalayas, the U.S. Midwest, Scotland, the Caribbean and Auckland (featuring street circuit-inspired aesthetics). It also brings back several locations from previous games in the series: San Francisco, Rome, Shanghai, Osaka, New York and Nevada.

The 3310 was developed at the Copenhagen Nokia site in Denmark and unveiled at the "Don't be bored. Be totally board." lifestyle event in Oberhausen, Germany, as well as "Nokia Unplugged" concerts in the Asia-Pacific region.[6] It is a compact and sturdy phone featuring an 84 × 48 pixel pure monochrome display.[1] It has a lighter removable 115 g (4.1 oz) battery variant which has fewer features; for example the 133 g (4.6 oz) battery version has the start-up image of two hands touching while the 115 g (4.05 oz) version does not. It is a slightly rounded rectangular unit that is typically held in the palm of a hand, with the buttons operated with the thumb. The blue button is the main button for selecting options, with "C" button as a "backspace", "back" or "undo" button.[1] Up and down buttons are used for navigation purposes. The on/off/profile button is a stiff black button located on the top of the phone. Like its predecessor Nokia 3210, the 3310 was marketed as a customizable consumer-oriented handset targeting the youth.[7] It is about a centimeter shorter than the 3210.[8] The 3310 is known for being reasonably durable due to its casing and construction, a feature which is often humorously exaggerated in online communities.[9] Numerous videos also exist of the phone being put through increasingly-severe damage tests to test the phone's strength, including being dropped from a great height (sometimes while being protected with makeshift cases made from various objects), being crushed by heavy objects or being struck by vehicles or hammers, many times of which the phone proved its record.[10] The 3310's reputation for durability led HMD Global to develop the Nokia 800 Tough with MIL-STD-810G standard compliance in mind. -Features The Nokia 3310's main new feature introduced over its predecessors was a Chat function. This is an instant messaging-like feature that works on standard SMS.[11] The 3310 was po[CENSORED]r for SMS text messaging because of Chat and also because it allowed long messages three times the size of a standard SMS text message, at 459 characters. It also featured threaded SMS writing and voice dialing[12] for the quick dialing of selected numbers.[13] The 3310 is known for having many features that were rare for the time. These include many utilities, such as a calculator, Nokia network monitor, stop watch and a reminder function. It has four games: Pairs II, Space Impact, Bantumi, and the hugely po[CENSORED]r Snake II. The Snake series of games had been po[CENSORED]r on Nokia handsets since the late 1990s.[13] CNET remembered Space Impact, a shoot 'em up in which the player fires projectiles at oncoming aliens, as a mediocre game overall but impressive for fitting a mobile device with its complexity and length.[14] It was later recreated for other mobile devices.[15] The Nokia 3310 runs on Nokia's proprietary Series 20 software.[16] The Nokia 3310 uses a MiniSIM (more commonly known as a standard SIM). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_3310
