    ASUS Zenfone 2

ASUS is a company with a tradition of making tablets, smartphones not mandatory. By Zenfone series last year, Taiwanese giant attempted to perform hybrid between Android tablets and the Padfone and Fonepad ranges, devices that have failed to find a concrete identity in the market. Zenfone 2 is the second generation of Android 100% from Asus, the company are trying to prove that cheap phones can be powerful and handsome, despite competing offer. Details, construction, design, ergonomics Zenfone 2 manages to keep most elements of design of the previous generation. The front is constructed largely from a large piece of glass from Corning Gorilla 3 covering the display and illuminated houses three capacitive buttons, speaker and camera calls the front. At the bottom was kept a piece of plastic with a radial texture, which reminds Related Series notebook, Zenbook. The back of the device has a slightly rounded, not very different from what we find on competing terminals HTC One and LG G3. This means that Zenfone 2 is thicker in the middle than at the edges, providing an ergonomic shape, very pleasant to use. The phone adapts to the user's hand practical, offering a comfortable experience in most situations. The back is covered by a plastic cover which is painted entirely in brushed metal model. Zenfone 2: Volume buttons are located behind the phone The top of the lid are some very important elements smartphone. The highest place is dual-LED flash tones, camera, centrally placed, and below it a button with two contacts used to up or down the volume of the sound. At the bottom is a grid intended main speaker. Although it covers almost the entire width of the phone, there is a single mono speaker on the left, the rest of the grid is covered with adhesive tape factory. Since the volume buttons have been moved on the back, sides not include distinctive elements. At the top we find but audio jack for connecting stereo headphones, microphone, secondary and Power button located on the center. Positioning the controller is at least strange, since we are talking about a device large screen of 5.5 ", which does not encourage pushing the top, especially when used with one hand. No button is very slim that does not help, by far the biggest drawback of the phone in terms of design. At the bottom is centrally located micro-USB port used for charging and data transfer and the main microphone, facing left. Despite the plastic back is removable, ASUS chose to carry a smartphone with integrated battery that can not be replaced without disassembly. Once you remove the cover, the battery is visible but inaccessible. Above they are two places for micro SIM card and microSD card abode. The cap is integrated NFC module, which comes integrated way in official accessories ASUS products. Despite the fact that ASUS has opted for a housing entirely made of plastic, Zenfone 2 do not provide the feeling of a cheap smartphone. Perhaps the closest comparison is within G3 model from LG in terms of quality of construction and the design. To target price segment, the Taiwanese company has achieved objectives, providing a flagship smartphone in 2014 compared to the outside and with performance equivalent to the price of mid-range 2015.

  4. Known so far only rumors, mysterious oversized screen iPad tablet seems to be a plan to launch this fall, Apple having already prepared a series optimizations prepared for the next version of iOS. According to evidence uncovered by Steve Troughton-Smith, a known developer of applications for Apple devices, iOS version 9 includes a larger keyboard, the tablet only enabled screens high enough resolution. How Apple does not currently offer includes such devices, it is understandable that alternative keyboard is reserved for a [CENSORED]ure iPad model. IOS keyboard hidden from 9 reserved for iPad model with larger screen? Seeming to confirm rumors circulated so far, oversized keyboard is not very different from the usual tablet iPad, the same color scheme and several keys. Extra space is utilized with an additional row of keys narrow corresponding number key group met in laptop systems or some other keys: Tab, Caps Lock and Redo function. Other optimizations and may be present and package the applications for iOS in September, aimed to highlight the benefits of a larger screen. Moreover, some of them have even been made public, such as split-screen multitasking support necessary to use several applications in parallel.
  5. Not one to shy away from flaunting their latest and greatest products, MSI unveiled a bevy of new devices at Computex 2015, which included high-end laptops, all-in-one PCs, top-tier desktop GPUs and motherboards. In addition to bringing new products to the show floor, MSI has also refreshed some of their existing products, including the laptops they first unveiled at CES earlier this year. If there was one word to describe all of their offerings it would be ‘gaming,’ and that much is evident from the Gaming G Series dragon logo adorning all of their hardware. As one of the mainstays of MSI’s core offerings, it’s no surprise that its high-end gaming laptops were prominently featured at Computex 2015. Of particular note were refreshes to the already-extreme GT72 Dominator Pro laptop, which won our best gaming laptop of 2015 award last year. The new features include the addition of Nvidia G-Sync technology that complements its powerful GeForce 980M graphics card that has 8GB of GDDR5 memory. For the more cost-conscious among us, MSI also refreshed their GS60/70 and GE72 laptops with upgraded speakers and sound technology to create what MSI calls an “immersive” virtualized 7.1 sound environment. All in all, their refreshed update brings interesting additions to the devices we originally saw at CES earlier this year. NIGHTBLADE GETS UPDATE: The Nightblade series, MSI’s take on a barebones gaming computer case, got an upgrade in the form of the Nightblade MI, which in addition to featuring an on-board Z97 motherboard also comes preloaded with an Intel Core i7 processor and (presumably) the customer’s choice of an Nvidia GeForce 900 series card. Other upgrades to the original include the onboard Nahimic Sound Technology, which promises to deliver a better sound environment through either a gaming headset or regular speakers. Should the Nightblade MI follow in the footsteps of its predecessor (which is likely), it’ll also include a Wi-Fi module, a DVD drive, and proprietary OC overclocking technology. While several hardware manufacturers were eager to show off their all-in-one desktops, few could boast that their models would also allow users to mix some serious gaming with their work. Ditching integrated graphics in favor of a dedicated graphics card, MSI unveiled two models of the 24-inch and 27-inch variety that come with the GeForce GTX960M and GTX970M respectively. The 24-inch model comes with either a Full HD or a 4K panel, while the 27-inch monitor features a WQHD display. Both models ship with the user’s choice of an Intel Core i7 processor.
  6. Until now, Google does not give developers a mechanism whereby they can provide free, temporary applications that are normally available for a fee. Basically, once a developer a paid app list as free of charge, the modification made was permanent, with no possibility of returning to previous price. Bypassing this limitation Free App of the Week schedule allows developers to implement temporary price cuts without changing the official price. Instead, the mechanism involves the use of discount codes automatically applied, reducing to zero cost effective payment Google introduces program Free App of the Week, with free apps every week Introduced in store Play Store, the program Free App of the Week will give users the opportunity to Try free apps that are normally available for a fee. Unfortunately, Google has not provided all the details, such as how application developers can participate in the program and possible restrictions. For example, the first application included in this program - Daniel Tiger Grr-coordinator Feelings price $ 3 - can be downloaded free by enabling a banner displayed in the section Family of store Play Store, or this link. The banner in question is not, however, displayed to all users, visibility appears to be restricted depending on the area, or other criteria.

  8. Workstations have a reputation of being bulky and extremely expensive, and that’s historically been painfully accurate. Thankfully, the size and cost of workstation laptops have dropped drastically in recent years. So if you’ve been putting off buying a new workstation, take a look at the ThinkPad W550s from Lenovo. It’s powerful, less than nine-tenths of an inch thick, weighs in at less than five pounds, and it’s currently being sold for $472.85 off the sticker price — a whopping 30% in savings. On the inside, this model sports a fifth generation dual-core 2.4GHz Intel Core i7-5500U CPU, a powerful discrete Nvidia Quadro K620M graphics card (with 2GB of memory), 4GB of DDR3L RAM (1600MHz), a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive, Bluetooth 4.0, and 802.11b/g/n/ac WiFi support. But the biggest standout here is absolutely the incredible 15.5-inch display. With a “3K” resolution of 2880×1620 and in-plane switching, your screen will look crisp and clear no matter where you’re positioned. So even when you’re stuck on a cramped plane, you can get serious work done on a tight deadline.

  10. ASUS has never been amongst the top smartphone brands, but the ZenFone range is helping the company to make the leap to that level. The interesting, affordable, and admired ZenFone 2 has helped ASUS make money from its smartphone division during May, with 1.5 million units sold throughout the month. The Taiwanese giant says that in June is plans to sell a further 2 million handsets and turn a profit once more. May saw the ZenFone 2 launch in the United States, surely a boost to ASUS’ sales, while the 4GB RAM, 1080p version also arrived in global markets. The company had said earlier in the year that it would sell some 30 million units during 2015, putting it among the top 10 manufacturers. However, after a slow April ASUS lowered expectations to 25 million, although after an impressive May and strong estimates for June, perhaps the company will be able to best its new sales predictions.
