Ddupa cum spune si numele ,seria care combina stilul arcade cu cel sim se muta in Vietnam , la mijlocul anilor 1960. Statele Unite Ale Americii se afla in plin razboi rece cu Unirea Sovietica ,alegand sa se implice in razboiul din Asa pentru a infrange fortele Vietcong . Jucatorii vor prelua rolul lui Joe Thompson , un pilot US Air Force ajuns printre primii in Vietnam. Dezvoltatorii au pregatit peste 20 de avioane cu reactie si elicoptere,acestea asteptand sa fie utilizate in functie de misiunile primite.
