Jagex has just released a brand new update for RuneScape called the Gate of Elidinis, which brings a new challenge for you in the form of its second-ever skilling boss. This new storyline takes you deep into the desert, where the corruption of Amascut has overrun the sacred Gate of Elidinis. Once a peaceful portal for spirits of the dead, it’s now tainted by darkness, and it’s up to you to restore balance.

The new skilling boss in RuneScape offers both solo and group combat options, allowing up to ten players to join forces against the corruption. But unlike traditional bosses, you’ll be relying on your skill in areas like Mining, Crafting, Divination, and Agility to purify the statue pieces and push back the malevolent forces. Mining Moonstone and crafting Spiritual Barriers are essential to defending against the waves of spirits hungry for your soul.

Once the portal is functional once again, you will earn a range of brand-new items. These include the Runecrafting Off-Hand Runic Attunement, the Memory locus Divination Off-Hand, a Combat Prayer, God Book, and your very own cute boss pet, Edie.
