According to Rodrigo Mendoza, the group's singer, the rest of the band will continue the tour in Tenerife, Canary Islands, to return to the peninsula and meet up with the director and trombonist, who is attentive to the group's commitments and wants to rejoin the tour as soon as possible.

César Monge was born in Venezuela on February 26, 1950. His artistic career began with the band of Federico y su Combo playing the trombone, then he joined La Orquesta Los Satélites, with whom he recorded the album Siempre En Órbita Y… A Bailar, in 1971.

The life and musical career of the young trombonist reached its peak when in 1972 he joined other Venezuelan musicians such as José Antonio Rojas, José Rodríguez, Elio Pacheco, Jesús Narváez and Oscar D'León; to create a group that would later become a musical icon of Venezuela, Latin America and the world, the legendary Dimensión Latina.

The Dimensión Latina orchestra has established itself as one of the most renowned salsa groups in Caribbean music and entertainment, which is why, on June 12, 2012, the Libertador Mayor's Office of Caracas declared it Cultural Heritage.
