There are dogs that cope with heat better than others. In summer, whatever the race, you have to protect them from the sun and provide plenty of water and places with shade. Those races with short hair and long nose are usually more resistant to high temperatures (greyhounds, doberman, chihuahua ...), but all those with thick fur and short nose (such as brachycephals) are prone to pass it very badly. In fact, experts recommend not having this type of dogs in the hottest areas in Spain.
