As you can imagine, this will allow us to launch the different functions of the po[CENSORED]r Copilot in a much more direct way in Windows.

The Ctrl key will disappear to make way for the Copilot key
It is worth mentioning that this is something that has been speculated about for a long time and is now beginning to be confirmed by Microsoft. It is true that there were also plans to completely restructure the keyboards in order to include this new key that we mentioned. But it seems that that idea was completely discarded.

In its place, the software giant has prepared the disappearance of the Ctrl key, also known as Control. Of course, I'm sure many of you will already know that most keyboards have two Ctrl keys, in this case the one located to the right of the space bar will disappear. Instead, little by little what we will call the Copilot key will begin to appear.

The truth is that we will only have to get used to using the other key with the same functionality that is located to the left of said space bar. And based on all the functions and improvements that are coming to our Windows computers thanks to Copilot's AI, this change in keyboards is likely to be beneficial for most. With this we must take into consideration that the change will be made gradually over time.

We still do not have an official date for the disappearance of the Ctrl key and the arrival of the Copilot call. But everything indicates that the new Microsoft Surface devices that will be launched this year will be the first to include the change in the keyboard.
