Noticias ALEJANDRO Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 After a drought of Princes of Persia games for consoles, Ubisoft is spoiling fans of the series with 2 installments in the same year. The second would arrive a few days later, but it has just been delayed and Hades II is partially to blame. As the French company revealed 1 month ago, the Dead Cells studio is working on a 2D roguelike of the franchise called The Rogue Prince of Persia, which would debut next Tuesday, May 14 in the Early Access phase. However, there was a change of plans. This was announced by the title's developer, Evil Empire, through its official Twitter account (X). "Seeing that everyone and their mom is playing that title (including our entire team... and their moms) we've decided to let people have fun with it before we release The Rogue Prince of Persia," Evil Empire said in its statement. . The studio was not shy about recognizing that Hades II is one of the most anticipated games of 2024 and that it is coincidentally in the same genre as The Rogue Prince of Persia, so it preferred to delay it for the good of its project and release it once that the furor over Hades II has calmed down a bit. Let us remember that Ubisoft and Evil Empire announced the release date of The Rogue Prince of Persia in April and, although they had revealed it before, Supergiant Games decided to launch Hades II surprisingly this week also in Early Access and it has managed to be one of the best sellers in Steam.
