As we commemorate another anniversary of the birth of the Argentine writer and poet Juan Gelman, the world remembers his literary work for his ability to play with the musicality and rhythm of words and the richness of registers.

The Argentine intellectual was an inventor of words long before the dictatorship murdered his son and took away his granddaughter, a tragedy that marked his life and turned him into a poet dedicated to a fight against oblivion that he maintained until his death in Mexico in 2014.

The journalist, also born on May 3, 1930, abandoned his degree in Chemistry to dedicate himself to letters, a passion for which he would deserve the Miguel de Cervantes Literature Prize in Spanish in 2007, for his ability to play with musicality. and the rhythm of the words and the richness of registers.
