Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán STJ, a final special edition for the 10-year-old supercar.

Stickier tires, new dampers, and more aggressive aero bits improve upon the Huracán STO, shaving over a second off the lap at Lamborghini's test track.

Production is limited to just 10 units, with the STJ being offered with a choice of two configuration and livery options.

Lamborghini's newest special edition looks the business. The Italian marque just unveiled the Huracán STJ—the final special edition of the 10-year-old supercar. Visually, the STJ is less conspicuous than you might expect from a swan-song Lamborghini, but the real changes are under the skin.

Arrivederci, Huracán

The STJ is a Huracán even more focused on setting lap times than the already heavily track-focused STO that it's based on. According to Lambo, the mechanical grip has been considerably improved thanks to a new set of four-way-adjustable dampers that replace the previous active setup on the standard car. The company claims that added adjustability means the new dampers can be run with lower spring stiffness without losing control or steering feel.

Additionally, Lamborghini worked with Bridgestone to develop a set of Potenza race tires for the 20-inch center-locking wheels. And just like the STO, the STJ is rear-drive only, and power comes courtesy of a dry-sumped 631-hp 5.2-liter V-10 tucked behind the cabin and mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Changes didn't stop with dampers and tires, with Lambo also tweaking the supercar's aerodynamics. The front splitter is slightly revised, and new dive planes were added. Lamborghini dialed up the rear wing by three degrees to increase the aerodynamic load compared with the production model without compromising the balance.
