The news about the update of the export law to establish a limitation regarding the maximum power that GPUs can reach in order to be exported to the Asian country comes after the announcement of the NVIDIA RTX 4090D 'Dragon', the exclusive edition of China created to bypass export restrictions. In this way, the United States seeks to cover the legal gap that allowed RTX 4090 graphics to be exported as long as they were not the versions that are sold worldwide.
