Currently, in this displacement the brand only offers the Burgman 400 scooter. The trail DR-Z400S enjoyed great po[CENSORED]rity and later the brand decided to offer a supermoto version, the DR-Z400SM. In the US the trail bikes, the gringos call this segment dualsport, are the best-selling models and there Suzuki still offers the DR650S and DR-Z400S. So much so that the 400 cc trail is the most po[CENSORED]r Suzuki model in the United States. Suzukis could exceed 2025 anti-pollution regulations by using electronic injection and an updated exhaust system to overcome the strictest approvals. Already in 2022 the manufacturer patented an exhaust system similar to that of the DR-Z400 but more modern. Suzuki's decision to abandon the MotoGP World Championship and withdraw from competitions fell like a blow. On the other hand, the manufacturer seems to be using those resources to develop new models like the GSX-8R and the V-Strom 800. So it could continue on its own path and instead of offering a retro road model like Honda CB400 or Kawasaki Z400RS, perhaps it will surprise us with updated DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM for the year 2025.
