In addition, they found necklaces, plaques, bracelets made with dog teeth, earrings with sperm whale teeth, gold covers, bone flutes and gold bells. The director of the El Caño Foundation and responsible for the project since 2008, Julia Mayo told local media that it was the tomb of a man from the Río Grande chiefdom, buried around the year 750 AD.
