Mopeds fell by 10 percent (842 units) and electric motorcycles fell a lot again (only 451 units, which is 47 percent less). Tricycles, for their part, rose significantly (229 units, which is 66 percent more). For ANESDOR “The sector continues to grow significantly in the second month of the year, with the private channel being the one that reflects the best data in both motorcycles and mopeds. One more confirmation that the motorcycle responds well to the needs of citizens in the new mobility, and therefore we insist on a specific chapter in the mobility plans that are being launched in the different municipalities of our country." By brands, Honda started the year leading the market with almost 22 percent ahead of a very strong Yamaha (17 percent) and in February it stands out with close to 24 percent. KYMCO consolidates its position in third position (6.5 percent of the “pie”) ahead of BMW and Kawasaki (5.2 and 4.4 percent respectively), which overtake Piaggio (4.4%). By model, the Honda PCX 125 came back ahead of the Yamaha NMAX 125 (still first overall) and the Honda SH 1250, third behind them. The Honda ADV350 is the first “more than 125” and the Yamaha MT-07 (ninth in the month, tenth in the accumulated) the provisional best-selling motorcycle. Click
