With great pitching, which resulted in a No-hitter for seven innings, the Atlanta Braves shut out the Houston Astros 2-0 to lead the World Series (2-1). Atlanta took advantage of a blunder by Venezuelan Luis Garcia to go ahead with a hairline in the third inning, pushed by Austin Riley.

Ian Anderson, on the other hand, was pitching a 5.0-inning gem without even allowing any concessions. And his superb performance was emulated by A.J Minter and Luke Jackson to preserve the no-hitter or game.

Houston barely hit his first hit in the eighth inning and that wasn't enough to hit the plate. Travis D’Arnaud hit a solo homer at the end of the eighth inning off Kendall Graveman to dismiss any stark hopes.

Will Smith climbed the mound after that and got the last three ous of the match to score the save. Anderson was left with the victory and the setback went to Garcia's account, who finished with three innings and two-thirds of a run, four walks and six strikeouts.

The fourth game of the series will be played this Saturday in Atlanta, where the Astros will have to go with all the heavy machinery to be able to compete and not lag behind in this World Series.
