JuveN Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Free-to-air sports fans, rejoice! The Six Nations is back for the 2024 edition, and all 15 matches will be shown live on terrestrial TV for the nation to savour. The first round of matches saw Ireland land a statement 38-17 victory over France in Marseille. The reigning champions have cleared their biggest hurdle at the first attempt and will take an aura of invincibility into their next outings. Elsewhere, England narrowly clinched a 27-24 victory away to Italy, while Scotland defeated Wales 27-26 – despite leading 27-0 – to ensure all three away teams were victorious on the opening weekend. Ireland and 2022 victors France are the pre-tournament favourites to go all the way this time around. England went furthest of the Six Nations teams during the Rugby World Cup but remain unconvincing under Steve Borthwick's guidance. Scotland and Wales are battling to restore their former glory, while Italy appear to be on an upward trajectory after ending their 36-match Six Nations losing streak in 2022 https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/sport/rugby-union/six-nations-2024-tv/
