The game takes place 300 years after the story of Romancing SaGa 3, one of the most po[CENSORED]r games in this role-playing saga. Gameplay in Romancing Saga Re: univerSe is basically divided into two: your characters team management, as well as participating in the chapters of the story and the traditional turn-based combats. Some of the battles are divided into three groups of enemies that you have to defeat using your five active characters inside the battlefield. These combats are pretty simple because you just have to pick the skills that your team will use. There's no hurry because all the attacks will be performed at once. You'll unlock new skills in the combats, depending on the ones you've performed before. You have a bunch of different characters available to you, which you can access through the Gacha system. The cast includes new and previously known characters of the saga. As long as you recruit a top-notch hero, you'll see a nostalgic image of the original game where it comes from. Romancing Saga Re: univerSe (ロマンシング サガ リ･ユニバース) is an incredible JRPG that includes audiovisuals that are just as good.
