FNX Magokiler Posted January 11, 2024 Posted January 11, 2024 With six generations under its belt, the Volkswagen Polo is almost as iconic as the Golf or the Jetta. In times before the SUV boom, the Polo was one of the brand's biggest bestsellers. However, its increasing price meant that Volkswagen looked to other countries to manufacture it. Since the fourth generation, the Polo is no longer manufactured in Germany and comes to Chile from Brazil. In this facelift, the Polo takes influence from the Golf Mk.8 and limits its range of versions to three models, which gain equipment and a new engine, thus trying to match its European brothers, the Škoda Fabia and the SEAT Ibiza. Volkswagen Polo 2024: dimensions and design Length: 4,074 mm Width: 1,751 mm Height: 1,471 mm to 1,481 mm (GTS) Wheelbase: 2,566 mm Trunk: 300 L The new Polo receives a front shared with the model sold in Europe. There is a redesign of the grille and slightly curvier headlights (slightly larger at the ends). There is also a new front bumper with wider air intakes. At the rear, only the bumper is the same as the European model, while it was decided to retain the design of the headlight housings (darkened). The Polo nomenclature is read in the center of the trunk, with the torque designation on the side. With this, the Polo gains a sportier and more modern look, with fewer straight lines and more softened. The brand offers three versions.
