Regarding driving, Sence will be providing free courses for those who want to obtain professional licenses class A3 (taxis) and D (heavy machinery).

In the coming weeks, the National Training and Employment Service (Sence) will start different free courses throughout Chile and not only in the Metropolitan region.

Regarding driving, Sence will be providing free courses for those who want to obtain class A3 and D professional licenses.

Class A3 and D license courses
Sence will have nine courses available to obtain the class A3 and D professional license.

The class A3 professional license is mandatory for anyone who wants to drive taxis, paid school transportation vehicles, ambulances or vehicles for public and private transportation of people (cars with limited seating capacity, according to ChileAtiende).

On the other hand, a class D professional license is required when driving tractors, mechanical shovels and any type of heavy machinery.

All classes have a course with a total immersion simulator, so that learning is as complete as possible.

Postulation
On the Sence “choose your course” page, you can find the catalog of courses offered by the organization. In addition, the type of course is detailed, where it is, the license granted, the duration and who teaches it.

The courses can be at the Automobile Club de Chile Drivers School or Todo Transporte Limitada.

When applying, the interested party must register through the Sence portal or by entering the Unique Code.

Requirements
For those who want to apply for free Sence courses, they must meet the following requirements:

Be from 20 years of age.
Have a Unique Code or Tax Code.
Be within the most vulnerable 60% of the population, according to the Social Household Registry (this requirement will not be required of migrants).
Possess a valid identification card.
Preferably have completed secondary education.
Possess a class B driver's license for at least two years.
Present the driver's resume, issued by the Civil Registry.
Take and pass a physical examination, which must include at least a vision and audiometry test.
Take a psychological test that determines the applicant's suitability to develop as a professional driver.
