From there, and after being formalized by prosecutor Claudia Perivancich for crimes of embezzlement of public funds and bribery, the former community leader has remained in preventive detention, although he recently hired a new lawyer with a view to regaining his freedom. As La Tercera was able to verify, this is the criminal Ramón Sepúlveda, recognized by the representation of the mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, and by three people involved in the case of Karina Oliva. Among them, he defends the former electoral administrator of the former candidate for regional governor, Martín Miranda. Measurements on your assets According to information contained in the case file, last Monday, December 18, the Guarantee Court of San Antonio ordered precautionary precautionary measures prohibiting the execution of acts or contracts on the assets that are in the name of José Luis Yáñez. This, as read in the resolution, in response to the background presented by the Prosecutor's Office, the property damage that has been proven - which exceeds one billion pesos -, the evidence gathered "and understanding that the smoke of the good law, the evidence exposed exceeding the sufficiency to protect the outcome of the process and the harm suffered by the victim.” For the same reason, the Civil Registry was informed to make the corresponding annotations regarding a Peugeot 3008 vehicle year 2022 that is in the name of Yáñez, and due to a Chery Tiggo 3 year 2023 that is in the name of Belén Carrasco Serrano, woman with whom Yáñez had a romantic relationship. The case José Luis Yáñez was arrested on the old road to Cartagena, commune of San Antonio. And as has already become evident, the Prosecutor's Office is investigating him for fraudulent transfers that the municipal treasurer, Belén Carrasco, would have made and that would reach $1,069,383,196. According to the prosecutor in charge, the former mayor was the one who would have facilitated this situation, in the first place, carrying out a restructuring within the municipality, appointing Carrasco in charge of the treasury. Furthermore, it has been established that Yáñez and Carrasco maintained a relationship during the same period in which the fraudulent transfers were made.
