In the midst of the political storm that occurred due to his statements that he had “agreements with drug traffickers” to be able to work with minors in towns, the vice president of the Socialist Party (PS), Arturo Barrios, came out to defend himself. through a public statement, in which he specified that “what I pointed out during my participation in a seminar, to be very precise, is that in the absence of the State, we begin to carry out our interventions, work with girls and boys in vulnerable po[CENSORED]tions ", and we are not attacked for doing that work."

Subsequently, through his adding that “I condemn drug trafficking and, within my professional capabilities, I fight against it.”

The statements were made this morning during the seminar “What now?
