[Software] Do you know what the biggest 'bluffs' of 2023 have been?

The year 2023 is about to end and it is normal that we all want to take a look back. It is the moment in which we remember all the good that has arrived in stores and, of course, all the bad, those bullets that we try to dodge so as not to spend money in vain. And how could it be otherwise, we have a list of bluffs that we are sure you will love.

If we all close our eyes and think about games that have arrived this year and that promised a lot, or that simply have not succeeded for various reasons, we will surely get a fairly extensive list. And this is the case that they have put together from HowLongtoBeat, who wanted to share with their followers a top 10 that is full of games that quickly fell into oblivion.

The one you already imagine, the first
Indeed, the first name that comes to mind for all of us is Redfall, from Bethesda and developed by Arkane Austin, which was a real failure from the first minute because it was a game that made no sense, with countless errors, not only technical, but also conceptual, and with the passage of time it seems that those responsible want to return it to the place it should have occupied.

They have a complicated job, because it is impossible to fight against fame, against a label that is placed on you, and the "unfinished and bad game" has been attached to Redfall since those first moments of its launch. Although the same is not the case and the story of No Man's Sky is repeated.

Which has managed to recover from a premiere, if possible, even more catastrophic.

The list you have right here above not only talks about bluffs and fiascos, which there are, but about some titles that arrived with the label of being highly anticipated, causing a lot of hype, and have fallen into oblivion practically a few weeks after being released. This is the case of Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, Last Case of Benedict Fox – we don't really agree here – and Humanity, which was going to rock the PS VR 2.

Everyone went chof!
As we tell you, within that list there are games that are not bad, on the contrary, we can point them out as really good, but it is true that the wave of releases that we have had this year, with incredibly good names, has overshadowed those that did not have so much media power. This is the case of Atomic Heart, which after a truly tremendous premiere, in the following weeks ended up falling into a silence that has brought us to today, when few surely remember that they have a very interesting DLC plan.

Or Darkest Dungeon II, which went on sale after an endless wait due to the success of the first game and, here, the changes made to the concept caused many of its followers to flee in terror from the experiment perpetrated by Red Hock Studios.
